Because our sessions are full of magical stories and, every day, we meet wonderful families from different cultures who teach us a lot.
We love meeting them and immortalizing unique moments of their lives.📷
Today we are going to tell you the story of Olga, Guillermo and their twins.
She from Moldova, he from Mexico. They speak 4 languages: French, Spanish, Romanian and Russian. 🌍
With this beautiful assembled family we made:
❥ A maternity session in our studio.
❥ A newborn session for the little ones, also in our studio.
❥ A session at their home, when the babies were 4 months old.
Olga and Guillermo met 10 years ago at the French school. They were on different levels and Olga had no idea that someone was watching her in that place, silent and interested. 💕
Over the summer, Guillermo found out what festivals were going on in downtown Montreal and asked her out.
She thought it was an excellent idea to practice her French. And there they began to write their story in several languages.
They got married in 2012 and, after trying to enlarge the family for several years, in 2023 fate brought them twins. 👶🏻👶🏻
They were very happy! Of course it was not easy to find out that there were 2, but after waiting so long it was like winning the lottery.
“We couldn’t believe it was real”.
Their wish in terms of language (the mother speaks in Romanian and the father in Spanish) is that the children learn all the languages they speak, because “communicating is where we really get to know each other”
Of course we asked Olga and Guillermo about their experience at Melero Photography.
🗨️ And this is what they told us:
“We really love the experience. We are not models but we were guided by professionals and the atmosphere felt very relaxed. It is a large, very bright studio. Today we look at the photos and they are the result of the beautiful work they did with us. What’s more, when we did the babies’ photo shoot, it was the first time we left the house with them. It was quite a preparation and challenge. Although Guillermo already had some experience because he was a dad 20 years ago. But, after all this time, it’s like being a beginner again. You know how to position the babies, how to calm them down, you were able to bring out the personality of each one of them in the photos!”
